"The family printers that has three generations and over a 100 years of experience between them"

Here at Norwood Press we are celebrating 64 years of being in business. Started in 1951 by Leslie Savage, it is now in the hands of his son David and two grandsons Andrew and James. Having spent over 50 years working from the centre of Anstey, we had out grown our premises and in 2007 moved to our present premises in Ellistown. Having started in letterpress printing back in the 50's, progressing through the decades investing into litho printing where today we are running the latest Heidelberg 8 colour presses. We have built our business on good old fashioned values, which to this day we still pride ourselves with. We would like to thank you for taking the time to look through our brochure and hope to build a friendship with you and your company.

"We don't just talk about the environment, we make a difference"

At Norwood Press we take the environment very seriously. After being in business for the last 60 years and planning to be around for the next 60 years, we have taken steps to make sure we don't just talk about the environment, we make a difference. In 2012 we fitted a 24kw solar panel system. We estimate in the last 2 years we generated 44,400 kilowatt hours of electricity and saved over 20 tonnes of carbon dioxide. Also back in 2010 we changed the way we made our printing plates. We now make all of our plates without using any chemistry or water. We estimate we have saved over 4000kwh of power and over 204,000 litres of water in this time. All of our waste paper, off cuts and plates are also recycled, leaving us very little in general waste. If the environment is something you feel strongly about then using Norwood Press is a step in the right direction.
